Splashy/Water Themed

This blog will be based around water as I'm going to enter these cards into the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge blog and that is their theme this week.

The first and last card are ones that I made. The middle two cards are ones that my mum has made to enter into this blog challenge.

The image used is a Kenny K download which happened to be a free download this week so I thought it was fate and just had to be used.

The rest of the items used were from my crafty stash.

Hope you all like.

Many thanks for reading.

Special Card for Special People

Good morning,

This is my first ever scheduled post so I hope it works. Fingers crossed.

I wanted to show you a very special card I have made recently for 2 special people (one who is returning to my life, and the other who is joining my life).

Jessica left to go to Australia, just over a year ago and she is returning back home today with her fiance Nelly.

I can't wait to see Jess after such a long time for a catch up and can't wait to meet Nelly.

I just had to make a card for their return home and I'm going to send it to their house so it will be ready and waiting for them when they walk in the door.

Hope you all like.

Can't wait to see them both.

Thanks for reading.

Good morning readers

Good morning to all of you reading this,
Sorry I haven't been blogging recently. I have had a poorly mum and have been trying to get her sorted out so haven't really had much time to craft.  The cards that I'm going to show you below are mostly old ones that I've not shown yet but I thought what better time than now?

This card I made for Lyndsey at work as it was her wedding anniversary. The digi image is a Kenny K one. I love his images as they are so different to any others I have seen and some are quite risque.

This card I made for Sylvias birthday. I'm really proud of it as I have never made a gatefold easel card before and was shocked at how easy it was.

This was a card I was asked to make for a guy that we know from work. He enjoys steam trains but unfortunately got badly burnt from the steam whilst he was working on one. This was a get well soon card. I just adore wellington. I think he so cute, even for older men.

Now this card is special as it was my mums first ever paper crafting project. Recently she has not been well so she has decided to help take her mind off it by crafting along with me.
The card consists of an embossed coredinations sheet which she then sanded back, then ran a piece of ribbon across the card. She then decoupaged the image (with a little help from me as her eyesight isn't brilliant) and then she added some peel off buttons which she coloured and some sentiments.
I personally think it's great for a first effort. Wish my first cards looked like that. Although I am biased. lol

I hope you all like.

Until next time.
